About the Mission
Mansion on a Mission is a community-based initiative dedicated to serving Missourians. In partnership with the Missouri Governor’s Mansion, the First Family leads efforts to provide resources and support to those in need of a helping hand. We are committed to strengthening communities and enhancing the well-being of Missourians across the state through compassion and service.
Supplying Snacks
Boys and Girls Club of Jefferson City

In honor of Beef Month, the First Family provided the Phelps County Dream Center with ground beef and the fixings to make sloppy joe sandwiches. The Dream Center serves the Rolla community with groceries and other necessities. Learn more about the Phelps County Dream Center.

Smiles of Hope

In April, the First Family visited Smiles of Hope in Dexter on behalf of Mansion on a Mission. Medical supplies, including pain medicine and ice packs, were delivered to the extraction clinic for patients. Learn more about Smiles of Hope.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri

Mansion on a Mission partnered with the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri to restock shelves and provide resources in March. Books, blankets, stuffed animals and toiletries were among the goods provided for families staying at RMHC. Learn more about the Ronald McDonald House mission.

Christmas Meal Donations
Sankofa Unity Center

Sankofa, in North St. Louis City, conducts a Christmas meal donation annually. Through Mansion on a Mission, families were provided a full Christmas meal to enjoy with their loved ones. Sankofa provides a safe place for youth and families to spend time and gain positive mentorship in the Walnut Park community.

In November 2025, the First Family distributed Thanksgiving meals to students at Jefferson City Public Schools. This opportunity ignited the desire to launch the Mansion on a Mission initiative.
